Mike Langan '91 will read from, and sign copies of, his debut novel Dark Horse, a legal mystery about a Syracuse, NY judicial candidate who must run for his life when he is framed for the murder of his campaign manager. A reception for the author will follow.
Currently a career law clerk to a federal court judge, Mike Langan was formerly a litigator at law firms in Washington, D.C. and Syracuse, NY, where he also worked on the judicial campaign of a state court judge. He received a B.A. in philosophy from Colgate University in 1991, an M.F.A. in creative writing from George Mason University, and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the Syracuse area.
