6th Annual Hamilton Bookfair

The 6th Annual Hamilton Bookfair will be held on the Hamilton Village Green from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This rain-or-shine celebration will feature a wide array of affordable books for all ages, local authors, musical entertainment, activities for children, door prizes, and food available throughout the day. There will also be a 50/50 raffle to benefit the WIC Reading Corner at the Hamilton Public Library. Keep checking back for updated lists of participants and events.
Schedule of Events:
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Local authors from throughout central New York will sign copies of their books, which will be available for purchase
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Free face painting offered by Maddy McArn
12 p.m. - First door prize winner announced
12 p.m. - Kids can explore a Hamilton Fire Department fire-truck and get to know a local fire-fighter.
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Music by Pamme Swan, and Tom Hoe & Wayne Daniels
1 p.m. - Second door prize winner announced
1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Tracy Kane, author of the Fairy Houses series will read her stories at the Palace Theater and then help children create their own fairy houses on the Village Green.
2 p.m. - Third door prize winner announced
2:30 p.m. - Winner of the 50/50 Raffle announced
3 p.m. - Final door prize winner announced
3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Story hour with Heather and Lisette (from the Bookstore Children’s Program)
All day - book donations accepted for Hamilton Central School's Book Nook
- recycled canvas bags will be sold by the Hamilton Rotary Club
- hamburgers & hot dogs sold by the Hamilton Lions Club
- ice cream sundaes & root beer floats sold by the Chenango Canal Association
