Join us for a reception and book-signing with Peter Balakian, Jennifer Brice, Matt Leone, and Bruce Smith, contributors to Crafting Fiction, Poetry, & Memoir the first title published by the re-launched Colgate University Press. All are welcome.

Emerging from the Colgate Writers' Conference, this collection of essays brings together a diverse group of authors and teachers who are passionate about the art of writing.

Peter Balakian is the Donald M. and Constance H. Rebar Professor of the Humanities and Professor of English at Colgate University. He is the author of eight books and recipient of numerous literary prizes.

Jennifer Brice is an associate professor of English at Colgate with specialties in nonfiction writing and literature. Her work has appeared in such journals as the Gettysburg Review, Manoa, and River Teeth.

Matt Leone is the director of the annual Colgate Writers' Conference, and a lecturer in University Studies.

 Bruce Smith teaches in the graduate writing program at Syracuse University and is the author of five books of poems.
