Sylvia & the Magic Trunk

At the Palace Theater, 19 Utica Street, Hamilton.  Professional ventriloquist, singer, and children's author Sylvia Fletcher will dazzle you with her amazing talent, charismatic singing, lively unforgettable characters and voice illusions.  She will also read and sign copies of her new picture book The Adventures of Sylvie and the Magic Trunk.  The event is free, and open to children of all ages and their families.

Sylvia, who makes her home in the Albany region, tours throughout the east coast with the Magic Trunk, a well traveled box inhabited by a delightful bunch of quick-witted puppets that she magically brings to life through ventriloquism.  She began to study and practice ventriloquism at the age of 5, and has been performing professionally for nearly 15 years.

The Adventures of Sylvie & The Magic Trunk is the first in a series of children's picture books about Sylvie, a young girl who learns to use her special talent for ventriloquism to make people happy.
