Natasha Friend, best-selling author of teen novels, will read from her work and sign copies of her books. This event is sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore, the Colgate Young Writers' Workshop, the New York State Council on the Arts and Poets & Writers, Inc.
About the author:
Born in Norwich, New York, Natasha Friend is the author of the best-selling teen novels Perfect (which won the Milkweed Prize for Children's Literature), Lush, and Bounce. Her work has also appeared in Family Fun magazine and Chicken Soup for the Volunteer's Soul.
Natasha received her B.A. in Psychology from Bates College, and earned her M.A. in English at Clemson University. Most recently she served as director of the Brimmer and May Summer Camp in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
