Norb Vonnegut: Top Producer

Wealth management advisor and author Norb Vonnegut will read from and discuss his new financial thriller novel Top Producer.  The reading will be followed by a book-signing and reception.

About the book:
Grove O’Rourke, a rising star at the brokerage firm of Sachs, Kidder, and Carnegie, has buried his recent personal losses in an adrenalinized pursuit of wealth for his clients. After he and several hundred others witness his close friend Charlie Keleman die in the most gruesome way imaginable, Grove sets out to help Charlie’s widow. Charlie was a financial whiz and the genius behind a fantastic hedge fund, but the money he was managing seems to have vanished. And Alex Romanov, a friendly competitor on Wall Street, has expressed a very keen interest in any information on Charlie’s assets that Grove can turn up -- information that, as Grove starts to piece it together, makes him a much sought after man in certain homicidal circles.

About the author:
Norb Vonnegut is a wealth adviser who writes about Wall Street's behavior behind the headlines. His first novel, Top Producer, received a starred review from Publishers Weekly. He is now editing The Fund, a thriller scheduled to print in the winter of 2010/2011.

Norb built an extensive career with Morgan Stanley, Paine Webber, and other Wall Street institutions. He graduated from Harvard College in 1980 and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986.
