Reading & discussion with poet Rachel Guido deVries

Local poet, novelist and children's author Rachel Guido deVries will read from, and sign copies of, her books. A reception will follow. This event is sponsored by the Colgate Young Writers' Workshop and the Colgate Bookstore. It has been funded in part by Poets & Writers, Inc. with public funds from New York State Council on the Arts, a state agency.
About the author:
Rachel Guido deVries taught creative writing through the Humanistic Studies Center of Syracuse University from 1985 to 2003. She is a poet-in-the-schools throughout central and upstate New York teaching K -12 students how to discover their writing imagination in original poems and stories. She offers her popular readings and workshops in universities, colleges, libraries and community centers.
