Children's Book Illustrator Sylvie Kantorovitz

This event will be held in the first-floor Children's Corner.

Children's book illustrator Sylvie Kantorovitz will share stories, give a drawing demonstration, and talk about how she became an artist and children's book illustrator.  A book-signing and refreshments will follow. This program is free and open to the public.  The books are picture books geared towards ages 2-5 and early-reader books geared towards ages 5-8.

All of Sylvie's books will be available at a 25% discount until Thursday, October 21, and at full price on the day of the event.

Sylvie KantorovitzAbout the illustrator:
Sylvie Kantorovitz was born in Casablanca and grew up in France.  She studied art at the Arts Students League in New York City and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. She has illustrated several picture books under the name Sylvie Wickstrom as well as the popular Little Witch easy-reader series. She now lives in Albany, New York.
