Read for the Record: The Snowy Day

Help set a new world record for the largest shared reading experience on a single day at this children's event, featuring the classic picture book by Ezra Jack Keats. This event is sponsored by the Colgate Bookstore, the Head Start group at Colgate's Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education, and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Free and open to children of all ages.
Volunteers will read The Snowy Day aloud, then help children with a mitten craft, followed by a snack. Children will receive a sticker, activity sheet, and certificate of participation to take home.
