Jane Austen Book Club: Jane Austen & Poetry

The group will discuss Jane Austen's own poetry (available in Catharine and Other Writings) as well as that of her favorite poet William Cowper. An excerpt from Cowper's epic poem "The Task" (prepared by Colgate professor Deborah Knuth Klenck) will be available at the December meeting, and as a pdf file (see below).
